won't let me change my email

Whenever I try, I get this no matter what email I use:

We are unable to deliver mail to this address: ---. Please double-check the spelling to ensure it is a valid e-mail address.[/code:1]

And I am 100% sure I didn't misspell anything.

Nevermind, I deleted that CirleDrawde8031 account and got this one because I didn't like the name plus I wanted to post art.

Wow, that's a new one. I [i]programmed[/i] that error message myself, but I've never seen it in the wild until now.

So what does the error message mean? Let's just say it's bad karma to be getting it.

I was trying to change my email so that I would get notifications of new replies and be able to post my art here, and any email I put, whether it be Yahoo, AOL, or whatever, didn't work and it kept giving me that message.

I then got frustrated and deleted the account and created this one with the correct email so that I would get notifications.

Wait a minute, is that the exact phrasing of the error message or did you edit it out of privacy concerns? If you edited it, you've ruined any chance that we may be able to help you.

It was a mailinator or 10 minute mail email, can't remember, every email I used gave me that message so that's why I didn't put anything.

Oh well I created this one with the email I wanted so that I can submit art.

Sounds like a bug where changing AWAY from a disposable email account causes errors.

Bug found: Validation notice was essentially being sent to the [i]old[/i] address instead of the [i]new[/i] one. Not exactly how it's supposed to work, eh?

Patched and testable on RC domain. In the meantime, if you logout/login you can request a new validation letter just fine.
