Final Fantesy Dissidia, whats your take on it?

This game I have been long awaiting to see and dreamed of. A super smash brothers version of the final fantesies. Now that it has finally graced the American PSP's what is your take on this game? Who is your fav guy to play? Your favorite battle matchups?

In my opinion my fav matchup that I have seen thanks to youtube is Squall VS Sephiroth, very badass ashame that Seph got his arse handed to him though xD

Downloaded it a week ago, shitty fighter, good fanservice.

If you want a good fighter, go for Blazblue: Calamity Trigger, or Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +

Nah I have my eyes on Soul Calibur 4 KH 358/2 days, and this game along with Crisis Core

SC4 is meh. The netcode is trash, and laggy as hell, and the overall game still doesn't match up to SC2.

Crisis Core and KH are both portable games, and incredibly easy to pirate. If you want a good fighter, pick up Guilty Gear XX (Or XX Reloaded, or XX Accent Core, or XX Accent Core +)

Look it up on youtube. XX/X2 should be under $20, and XX Accent Core + is $30 new.

And I like to follow the story plots to the games, im not a hack-an-slash lover like most people look for in games. Though dont get me wrong im a big fan of the MK series and GTA series and im dying to get my hands on one of the DMC games. I have my eyes on four at the moment.

A game with both Yoda and Darth Vader and IMPROVED create-a-character graphics and additions is highly a lousy game. However my bf says Nightmare has gotten ALOT slower and I believe him. Though they SHOULD have put Night terror in SC3, that guy is INSANELY powerful. My brother tried to ring him out and I laughed my ass off when Night terror just flew right back into the ring and lasor beamed his butt off the side. Also I have only beaten this guy once or twice. I kept using Xiangua or Kilik

So yeah, cant change my opinion im not a robot xP

Except it has shit music, Yoda and Vader are trash, and there is no fathomable reason to play anyone other than Xianghua, Amy, or Ivy unless you are going for a Ring-out Hilde.

Cervantes got raped, and is now useless, Talim is now useless, Rock is shittier than ever. Character creation is a pointless gimmick and ads no depth to the overall game, and even then, it's worse than SCIII character creation. The netcode is absolute shit, and is a fucking embarasment when compared to how smoothly Blazblue runs.

The list goes on. Team Soul has been putting out increasingly bad games since SCII, and it will only get worse from here.

Does anyone think Zidane has the best limit break in the game? I have yet to see it and soo far I think the best limit breaks are Sephiroth's, Squall's, Cloud's, and the main villian from FF8 (She's that funky looking chick with horns, her name escapes me)

Also who the heck was that clown looking guy in the commercial? He made me friggin jump when I saw him (My bed is a few feet away from the tv and I was laying at the end of it...shush I hate clowns! Dx)

All and all though I WANT THIS GAME! Its a heck of a step up from EHERGEIZ thats for sure Wink

But it isn't opinion. It's fact. The game is far less balanced than SC2. over half the cast is completely useless against the S tier

It's fact that the character creation DOES have less options.

It's fact that the netcode is trash, and the online is useless, which is incredibly sad considering how much better Tekken 5 DR's netcode was, and Project Soul had access to the Tekken 5 DR Netcode devs.

I don't think you played much Ehergiez. It's a lot better than Dissidia in terms or an actual game. People will like Dissidia better though becuase of xD CLOUD AND SEPHIROTH though.

Also, Godhand and Django were here, everyone else is babies.

Why don't you kids know who Kefka is? It's so incredibly easy and free to play FFVI that it isn't even funny.

Hey dont get me wrong I love EHERGEIZ, Django (HOW do you get his demon form?! I want it!) is by far my favorite but come on the graphics were terrible and so was the voice acting, Dissidia is not just about crazy fighting. It has a rp mode to it too and amazing music from what I heard. Also all the characters who were mute in the past (Besides Cloud, Seph, and Squall) get voices now! Hands down Dissidia is the super smash brothers of the rpg games. Unless they can COME OUT (Not already out) with a better one this is by far a must have game in my opinion for a FF lover.

I love Soul Calibur. Probably a lot more than you do.

That doesn't change the fact that Soul Calibur 3 is meh, and Soul Calibur 4 is bad.

So how are the endings played out in Dissidia? Im very curious about this since you apparently have played the game. (And if you dont like the game, send it my way! jk xD) I dont wanna go ALL over youtube checking out every single ending since that would waste time at the library computers (Cant watch it here, have dial up -dies-)

And I am not forcing him to change his mind I am just stating MY opinion as well and why its better than EHERGIEZ. However the true judges will be the ones in the magizines correct? I already have a feeling it will get a good score, though it still cant stand up to the original games such as FF7 FF8, FF10, and FF13 (The one with the evil looking dark haired male with red eyes). Those are the true rpg games that will continue to stand the test of time. And I will say WHAT I WANT I am not leaving no matter how much you complain. Im here get used to it.

Now moving on! Even though you arent as big a fan of the game as I am hercules, what is your favorite battle match up?
