Whether it be Oblivion, or Final Fantasy, just about every RPG has jobs/classes. So the question is, what are your favourites?

For me, it's gotta be the Thief. Not for the stealing, but for the speed. And the awesome green clothing! Knights are cool too. Especially in Oblivion. If you're a knight, you can get a heap of good bonuses. And thieves in Oblivion are cool too. Accept when you work for the Thieve's Guild. I hate it when you get heaps of Infamy, and you can't use Wayshrines!

Thief in Morrowind was fun, except by the end I was pretty much just BAMF all around and could kill off an entire city before breakfast. Oblivion's Assassin guild was pretty much where it was at and I would accept the game as a masterpiece if it offered me nothing more than just that set of missions.

Jobs in an RPG just feel like a grinding waste of time more often than naught, though I did extract some amount of pure glee from hiring underlings in my WoW guild to collect recourses for me in which to make all sorts of loverly armor for the rest of my guild mates. (Don't worry, I paid them lavishly)

I tend to favor a sort of Magick user, but I always end up acting like a melee unit.

I guess I'm just an all around guy.

I love the assassin/thief roles.
I, however, always find myself playing a heavy armorer mage.

Yeah. :) Every time i start out, i'm like: "Time to roll an assassin!"
Then it somehow always ends up: "Light armor might break a lot... I don't like the designs... Heavy armors cool, and it would look cool when I sneak around!"
Then it gets around to me talking myself into using fire spells, telekenisis, dual wielding swords, ect.

I liked the Mage, in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion when I had my XBox. Are there any RPG games on the Nintendo Wii that offer jobs/classes?

Not really. Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall was from on Bethesda's website, last I checked, and is old enough that any computer should be able to run it (IE, 10+ years)

Give it a try.

Inall honesty, you likely don't need a new video card to play Daggerfall, unless your computer is over ten years old.

I am kind of torn I like theives because well they steal stuff that can come in handy, or you can sell alot of the same stuff and rack up money. Not to mention they are experts at stealth and picking locks. But hey that's a theif for you.

I also like the shooter (Vincent, and Dante are the reasons) because you can stay at a safe distance from big hulking dumb powerhouse monsters and fire away at them til they drop.

I also like the paladins from dungeons and dragons online because you can heal without using scrolls, and you can use weapons not to mention you dont need scrolls for spells either. Also you can use dual blades, not just one.
