Halo 1, 2 & 3

Here we talk about Halo and how good it is!

Well I got to tell you that I don't really play Halo 1 the proper way. On this one level that I can't think of, when I'm waiting for the Warthog to come, I kill my allies just for the fun of it. When there is no more left, I restart on last checkpoint over and over again.

In Halo 2, again, only one level that I like that is a level with Arbitor on it.

Out of all the Halo games, the weapons I usually use is the plasma pistol. There is one weapon that I mostly use and it's in one level on Halo 2 that is very powerful. The Fuel Rod Cannon. I use this with caution if I'm playing with my bro.

You should get Xbox live and see the real fun in Halo. And you forgot Halo 3.

Don't encourage more 'tards onto xbox live. There is already an overabundance. *sigh*

Halo is a fun game to play online with friends. Other than that fact, the game ends up being highly over-rated. Bungie likes to make the worst gametypes the only ones left available. My college connection is laggy as hell. More whining of how Halo can go wrong etc. etc...

But, for the sake of this thread, my favorite weapon is the BR. Shotguns are cheap at lead to really annoying standoffs, especially on High Ground. Snipers are fun and I go off and on with being epic and epic suck when using them. Plasma weapons are lame and what is known in my circle as "Green Nasty" (plasma pistol charge shot followed by a quick BR to the face) is a n00b combo that involves little to no skill. It's just as hard as shooting a rocket launcher, really. The AR is horrible unless you're right next to the person. Bullets should have a better range of accuracy in a futuristic combat game. I'd take the BR over the AR any day, close range or long.

Usually my hobby ends up with me forgetting the objective of the game and just going around trying to stick people. Sticky grenades are amusing and I'm disgustingly good with grenades because of it. Nothing like rushing into an enemy base and sticking 2 or 3 people before you either get away or get destroyed by the remaining players.

The shotgun is not cheap, people just complain about it because they dont have the skill to kill people with it.

All guns take skill, its just that retards complain that people use other wepons than the BR.

Halo is a mediocre FPS series that is propelled forward by good multiplayer and a good first game.

Every campaign mode since Halo 1 has been crap. Hell, about half of Halo 1's campaign was terrible. (IE; Library "Lets reuse the smae corrider over and over" level."

Halo 1 lacked great graphics.
Halo 3 was more.. cartoony, if you will, and it was over-hyped.

Not really. You still have health based on regeneration, and can rely partly on hit and run tactics due to the health fegeneration.
