Vampire Anime/Manga...why??

Now, this is something I have always noticed when I read of watch something that deals with Vampires;
They are always so damn Lustful-ly sexual. I mean, that drived anyone crazy, apperently, but why does it? I find it annoying.
There is also the fact that when Vampires are showed, they always gatta be so damn Beautiful. Okay, Okay, I was a sucker for that -who is'nt at a time?!- but nowa dayz, its geting kinda...

...boring.

but, are there other stuff that don't exploit that stuff so much??

Um, the book "Suck It Up" is about a blood-intolerant vampire who isn't like his classmates - he's a rather nerdy looking teenager.

Vampires in this book normally look good and there are two different "classes" of them.

It's because that's the typical view of a Vampire.

Beautiful, smexy, and lustful.
It's part of the whole image.

You forgot to also add in the sometimes war with werewolves.
Because vampires just HATE werewolves. XD

The anime/manga Karen (licensed as "chibi vampire) is a similar idea.

The image of a vampire is supposed to be the perfect predator of a human. So yeah authors tend to use that to make them all sexy and sometimes overly horny. XP Alot of people go over board with it but some people actually use it pretty well.
Also vampires tend to be pale if your looking for other stereotypes. I don't like that one cuz it's like saying vampires are all caucasian.

I would have to say my favorite manga would be vampire knight, I have a weakspot for the 2 main vamps, Zero and gah whats the others name that likes that girl? >< shes the heroine btw.

I also love Blood+, one the most awsome vampire animes I have seen and also one of the bloodiest when it comes to girls in school uniforms. Eat your heart out sailor moon, literally xD I also think Diva is rather awsome and surprisingly; I didnt like any of the guys on that show like I did in vampire knight o_O they looked too...ordinary to me, even Saya's cheveliar didnt catch my attention.

i've only read 2 vampire mangas, hellsing and i can't remember the other's name i wanna csay "vampire's portrait" but anyways it was a yaoi with no yaoi Mad

. the point is i do find them vampires cute but i get what you're saying. may be it's a fetish? like you can't have an anime with schoolgirls without fanservice, or at least sex references
