I saw a little preview on the 360 dashboard and it was him fighting death. Looked pretty damn awesome to me.

Its extremely similar to God of war games. But it has alot of differences. Its worth beating. Ive platinumed this game as well.

Not really. Combat was meh as fuck, bosses were poorly done, pacing was awful, and you can tell in what area's they actually started getting lazy. Shit's goddamn forgettable as hell, bro

-ehem- You do realize God of War is a ripoff of Devil May Cry, correct? Dante's Inferno is a ripoff of a ripoff ^_^

But yeah, definitely worth playing, I borrowed this from a friend about a month ago, and it's pretty good if you like action games Smile

Great re-creation of Hell, and there's also a few disturbing parts as well.. mainly Cleopatra. Play it and you'll know what I mean =P

I think I'd give this game a 9/10. Oh, right, I already did in the review I wrote ^_^

theres a fine line between rip-off and influenced by.

If theres a good (near perfect) hack-and-slash formula, why change it?

If you want a TRUE rip off of the GOW series, go look at "Heavenly blade", I know this cause it's a ps3 game and GOW first started out on the ps2. Come on; Kratos had the chain blades before this chick.

But then again my brother says and I quote. "Every action rpg after GOW has ripped off at least one of it's attributes, weather it be the combat system, plot, or weapon design."

And here's another game that screams GOW rip off, even X-play agrees; Darksiders.

fun fact. You can find kratos's blades haning up somewhere in heavenly blade.

So what your all saying is its better for a game to be original and suck, than to use what they learn from succesful games and developers and apply to their own games.

Using your logic, EVERY fps is a "ripoff" of wolfenstein and DOOM.

well its worked out prett good for COD, medal of honor, battlefield...etc

Heavenly Sword was made by the same dev team as GoW, for the most part.

But it's all irrelevant, as all three are inferior to DMC, Bayonetta, NG, and God Hand to such an absurd level
