I think "zombies" actually orginated in Africa. People would give others this substance and bury them alive, then they would retrieve them and the person effected by that substance would have no idea who are or where they came from.
Well I don't know where I heard that one from, I think from my sister.

Zombies are overused. That are not, and never will be, some infectious disease that can spread like rabies.

actually....it can happen with rabies. After all it does make you crazy. Ask your biology teacher (preferably a college professor) and Im sure they would tell you its possible . hahah. As in some super rabies or something cause the bacteria can mutate etc, etc. Although its EXTREMELY unlikely, its still possible y'know. Not zombies but crazy ppl, sure. You never know when bacteria is involved.

And as for mutations, I guess anythings possible. But wouldn't the government contain them or something before the disease could spread?

So if it came down to it, would you kill off 10 states (all of its pop, animals, resources) for the safety of humanity, or would you trry and fix it another way?

Hmm
It would depend on how bad the virus got. If the infected outnumbered the amount of the non infected, I would kill off as much as I could. I would first however send out a helicopter or something to reach the people who aren't infected, get them, and their pets, livestock or try to save them. After that I would destroy everything left and help rebuild.

Of course, its easier said then done =/
