I'm slow because I don't do well looking up at the screen and back down at the keyboard. I don't do that placing your fingers on those certain keys type deal.

I am however pretty fast if I know what I'm typing. I finished this post less than 20 seconds.

When typing ordinary words like this, I am much faster, but typing anything more complicated will pull my wpm down by a lot.

I was doing the randomly-hunting-down-each-letter-on-keyboard until I was 14. I could only get to around 62 wpm. I learned home-row keys from a computer class, and my speed increased to the 70s. It is tedious to learn, but learning home-row keys really helps if you want to get things done quicker on the keyboard.

I typed averagely around 93-107 words or so. It varries a lot depending on my mood really.
