Final Fantasy X or Final Fantasy X2

Which one do you like better?
I like final fantasy x. I like the story line and the battle system more.
Final fantasy x2 was basically a screw up to me. However there is a lot more freedom in the game, as far as being able to go anywhere you want practically.

I'm currently playing through X for the first time (after finishing 9) and so far so good. I just arrived in the Al Bhed cityplacething thats under attack by the Guado.
My boyfriend showed x-2 to me because I was curious. It looked like Charlies Angels and it was fuckin cheesy. I don't think I could bear to look further. So I don't know what else happens.

definitely X, as it was a real final fantasy game.

X-2 just was a cash in that ruined yuna's character.

Oh I know. I liked Yuna so much more in x. See vengnagun was pretty cool, but these new characters. Like Shuyin, and Leene. Those were just stupid. It also got on my nerves with the temples music. It was just dumb to me.

yuna was a very melancholy character, knowing what her fate would ultimately be as a summoner.

it just seems weird to me that after all the stuff that she went through in the fist game she would choose to be a J-pop diva.

I did play through X and a tiny bit of X2. Preferred X. Better story, to me, better graphics, better atmosphere. But, I'm not a lover of FF. Sorry.
