Anyone here play World of Warcraft?

If so, what do you think about the upcoming expansion, Cataclysm?

Personally, I can't wait for goblins as a playable race. The animations are awesome!

WoW's a nice time waster when you've got nothing to do, but I understand how it might get in the way of people.


Worgens look cool too, shame they're alliance.

no, its too massive and at this point I would be so far behind that It would even be fun to play. Plus...no one helps you if you need it.

Lots of people think that but I started like 2 or 3 years after it was released and I managed to get in with the flow quite easily. With the new expansion coming out, many people will be starting again anyway.

You'll likely not get help if you ask complete strangers, that's why you make friends. It's the same principle anywhere else.

Wonder if I'll find anyone who actually likes the game...

I really think it will be a lot of fun, but overall I think this is the expansion that's going to ruin it for the most part. I like the idea of the dragon being so strong that it even destroyed parts of Azeroth and what not. Though I don't really like how its gotten easier and easier through the last updates, WOTLK made it much harder, went hardcore kick ass Lich King boss, new Battlegrounds, new Dungeons harder then before, all this cool new stuff.

Now we're taking a flash back and are fighting a dragon called "Deathwing"? Its quite the lame name, and that being said, its very uninteresting feeling towards the game. It seems that the game will only become worst by doing this update. Though fun like I said, flying in Azeroth is going to be pretty epic. Gonna do a lot of epic stuff I planned since pre-BC. I guess you could say the secret areas won't be secret for long since we'll be able to fly at 300% speed now.

I don't think critisizing a character's name is really a good reason to think the gameplay would be worse, but whatever floats your boat. Personally, I think the new expansion will be ROCKIN'! We'll actually have to use CC now.

Plus, seen the quest chain "The Day Deathwing Came"? Funniest. Quests. EVER. With the new technology, with phasing and stuff, quests are gonna be even more awesome (and the wotlk quests were fun too!).

And now, Goblins are just plain awesome. Well, at least they're better than all the Sephiroth blood elves running around on RP servers. Have you even seen their /flex?! But it doesn't matter, everyone's gonna go for the worgens anyway.
