Does anyone here make their own? It's just that I'm practising right now and have turned out a couple of reasonable looking cards done from this card kit I got with a magazine. Discuss?

I have never tried making legitimate cards before. ;u How's the practicing going for you? Are they colored?

lucklace222: I got this magazine, it's called Let's Make Cards and it came with a card making kit. Blanks, backing papers, brads, sequins, card cut-outs and you just assemble the card from there. It's not as easy as one thinks- a lot of thinking goes on to making one of these and it is legitimate. Totally. There're even cd roms too, but don't print off the sheets and sell them, just make the cards with them. There's a business out in America, too. I dunno what websites to use in the US, but in the UK, there's www.createandcraft.tv or www.joannasheen.com Wikipedia might have something on cardmaking. Also, check things out like www.papercraftinspirationsmagazine.co.uk or find the site for craft's beautiful or do crafts, to see some samples sent in by readers. Said magazine LMC also has a website.

SILK: Yup. As in Birthday, Christmas, Congratulations. The list is endless and people do them.

As for my practise... dunno yet. I might let you know.
