League of Legends

Just wondering if anyone else here plays League.

Been playing for awhile now and, though the community can be ridiculously horrid at times, I can't help by find myself still drawn to playing it. I do have fun, I just hate the people who whine all the time. Everyone knows how that is.

Anyway, I was just curious.

You should definitely try it!

I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with it. It's fun, and a great time waster. I like playing it when I don't want to get into a time-consuming or intense game. It's one of those things that fun ti play every now and then, haha.

I know this is a little irreverent, but that is how I feel when I play Skyrim! I cannot play my Sims 2 game completely nowadays because it takes too much time. In Skyrim, I feel the world is much more blunt/honest and quick. When I want to slash/destroy people, I just do it!

Is Leagues of Legend game-play like Starcraft?

No, haha. It's not much like Starcraft.

I could best describe it as a combination of RTS and RPG. You play as a single champion on a team of 3 or 5 (against another team of 3 or 5) depending on what map you're playing on.

The objective is to destroy the opposing teams nexus (home base) to win.

It's an RTS because it has a top-down overview and an RPG because your champion starts at level one at the beginning of the match and levels up as you go by killing minions, defeating opposing champions, etc...

Gameplay style changes depending on which champion and what role you choose because each specific character fits certain roles for the team.

I think my favorite thing, though, is that each character is different with their own unique abilities. It makes it more fun and interesting.

A good friend of mine has been pestering me about making an account. Haha-- I just might! It looks really interesting, just trying to debate if my computer can handle it. xD

It can be a lot of fun if you have a good set of friends to play with. I live playing League as long as I have people I can get along with on my team.

I can't play solo queue games. Too many trolls and douche-bags. And it gets irritating when you get people like that on your team.
