I often play as the pyro, is that A good thing?
and if you have played before, do you have any tips for this noob XD

I mostly play pyro.

Some pyro tips:
* Don't try to take on a heavy from the front, it's not going to work. They outrange and outgun you.
* Use back burner and side paths to get people from behind.
* Use the flare gun on snipers. Usually won't kill them, but the time it takes them to go heal is time they aren't shooting at you and your team mates. Also can work on scouts trying to outrange you, but they are harder to hit.
* Spys cause a lot of problems. As pyro it's your job to fix that. Spy check constantly. If it moves, burn it. If it doesn't move, burn it anyway.
* Use air blast on ubers to separate the medic, or just generally mess up their aim/push them back.

General:
* Get a mic. Team coordination really helps.
* Take out the medic first if you can.
* The team with the best medics usually wins. If you are short on medics, become one.

I haven't started played online yet, I like to practice first before the actual game.

there are alot of videos on how to spy check, I'll be sure to do that aswell.
