Official Independence Day Contest (2012)

CONTEST: Draw you and your friends (real or fictional) enjoying a fireworks show!

Deadline: July 13, 2012 (CLOSED)

Theme: Exploding hundreds of combustibles at rhythmatic times is what Independence Day is all about! However, the best time to set those fireworks up to see the glimmering and colorful lights is not alone, but with family and friends (fictional or not)! Draw your buddies, peeps, homedawghs, and Uncle May enjoying the fireworks with you on Independence Day!

Rules:
1. Only 1 submission per user
2. When July 13, 2012 12:00 AM passes, submissions are closed for the contest. I do not take late work, no matter how good you are.
3. No explicit sexuality/violence

Scoring Guidelines:
Skill: 40 points

- You can use crafts, digital mediums, traditional mediums(etc.) to express this theme, but you need skill to make it look good! Whatever style you work with, whether anime or realism, make it synchronize with your idea, and your skill will inevitably show.

- No one wants to see a loner in the shadows on Independence Day. We want to see everyone lively, intrigued, and interacting with each other in a fun/mischievous/creative way! The more characters, the better!

- When there are fireworks, there is lights, and lots of it. Being able to shade characters with firework lighting in mind is a difficult task, but when succeeded or even decently attempted, it can pool into your Skill points!

- You know what I am talking about. This category is crucial to bringing the fireworks out. Have you seen black and white fireworks? They are a little hard to see.

Since color is a category, you would be deducted some points, but on the exception that the art-piece is exceptional enough skill-wise, the color category can definitively be compromised.

For now, you can give me what you have, and then you can slowly edit it if you do have time!
