How do I turn spellchecker off?

I've noticed now that the spellchecker is on, I'm getting red underlines on words that it doesn’t understand even though I remember turning that off a few years ago. Why is it on and how can I turn it off?

Most Web browsers have spellcheck built-in. Firefox for example it's in the right-click context menu.

I'm not particularly fond of FAC's site spellchecker (it tends to interfere with the standard context menu, for one), but you can hit the "Source" button to toggle between WYSIWYG and plaintext versions of the textbox - plaintext version doesn't use the spellchecker.
