Okay, so. My friend is probably going to kill me for asking this, but I'm dying to hear an opinion. Is it controlling for someone to want to keep a fandom in between that person and their partner?
My friend and her boyfriend are both interested in Supernatural, and her girlfriend doesn't want him to roleplay it with other people. Her reasons are understandable to me, they are a couple and it's natural for couples to have a something like that between them. It's just like two best friends who have an inside joke, in my opinion. |

Hmm weird, suffering from the same situation with another friend. Small world I guess lol.
But my opinion? It's a friggin show or game or anime, you dont have the copywright to it, and it's selfish to keep it between them and keep others from rping it or whatever. Dont be a jerk, learn to share. I can understand if it was hentai based..but if you are doing a simple rp of Pokemon journeying through a dungeon, assassin's attacking templars, or even South park with their zaney mishaps, then dont make mountains out of molehills or you're going to have toooons of ulcers before you hit your forties. ;3 _________________ Our life is made by the death of others...

...I cannot tell if her keeping her boyfriend from role-playing Supernatural is indicative of her being overprotective of the SHOW (does not want it to be some pop franchise for everyone to love) or 2. overprotective of her boyfriend (he might porn-roleplay - if this one is true, then maybe she is paranoid because she does it herself, haahaohoh). _________________ “Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.” ~Theodore Roosevelt |
