Do you believe in Destiny or Fate?

I don't. 'Cause I believe we shape our own paths that were given to us.

NOTE; there was probably already a post about this sometime ago. but this is a timeless topic.

I believe it is all controlled by humans and their actions. Rather than karma, I believe that harming a person may cause them to exact revenge, and that helping a person may have them return the favor.

but a destiny or purpose? no I don't believe in that.

Our actions determine our future. So, do I believe in fate? Yes I do. Destiny? For sure. Everyone's destined for something as long as they have the mind for it. ^^ And are fighters in what they believe in.

I know this is an old thread, but I do believe in destiny: you have a purpose the moment you are born, but your choices can dictate the outcome. Even if you stray, you can always redeem yourself. Depending on how far you go down the wrong path before you make the right choices.

I make my own destiny and fate. If I want to eat that new strawberry filled sprinkle muffin at Starbucks, dag nabbit, I am going to eat it. When the store is jampacked, the first person to think "Hey, maybe I was not meant to get that muffin today" does not get it. I will push my way through that crowd, and I will enjoy that muffin. AND THEN I ENJOYED IT.

What was my moral again.

But ultimately you have your freedom with the factors of opportunity and means weighed in, to do what you will with your life.
