I'm aware that asking for featuring own works sounds like self-promotion, but having witnessed that I won the contest held by PAWS Inc., I was thinking if my work http://www.fanart-central.net/pictures/user/TeeJay87/854701/Garfield-Great-Catsanova would deserve a feature.

I know exactly how that feels. The last time I tried that I got into a major (but relatively civil) fight with a staff member. It was ... not pretty.

Well, if you remember the personality Simon Cowell had in [i]American Idol[/i] ... I was the one making the metaphor, and the other person took it as a compliment. It ended so sour (for me) I had a good mind to physically destroy the piece in question that preceded the discussion (aside: I did nonetheless delete almost all submissions of it from any of my online galleries). Not sure what stopped me, but in the end, I mailed it to the artist whose character I'd drawn. The first (and so far only) time mailing anything internationally.

Aside #2: I actually have disowned & destroyed a few pieces of mine over the years for various reasons. Though traces of them can still be found in certain places....

Anyway, I need to take a day to peruse recent submissions for feature candidates again....
