So, when I was submitting a pic to the crafts section I somehow accidentally put it under the furry category (when it has nothing to do with anything furry related.) So when I moved it to the correct category of "Crafts" it ended up bypassing the need to be approved by staff and what not.
I tested this with another submission (one which was already submitted to crafts and has yet to be approved.) I moved it to dragon/heads category (which would make sense but, its better suited to crafts.) But, when I moved it there it still need to be approved when I know for a fact that that category isn't moderated by AP staff. (I did put this submission in question back under crafts.)
So, is this some kind of glitch in the system or something? Thought it was weird enough (to me) to bring up. _________________ THIS SIGNATURE IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. |

This particular issue has always existed, actually. Basically, the check for whether you're selecting a monitored category is only performed at submit time, we have no mechanism to approve/reject later edits to an already submitted/approved piece. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Huh, interesting. I figured it would've auto-corrected itself or something and send it to the Approval panel but I guess not. But I guess that in a way it also makes sense that it doesn't do that.
Thanks for the hasty answer, Stratadrake. _________________ THIS SIGNATURE IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. |
