Constructive Critism

^_^ I noticed that lately there are very few people who actually give constructive critism on peoples' fanfictions rather than just mindless "THAT IS LIEK SOOOOOOOO KEWL!!!!1111oneone" comments.

So, being one of the few that will spend an hour going through a fic and pointing out every little thing that could be fixed to help the fic writer, i decided to make this thread, for those people who actually want constructive critism on their fanfiction.

SO, if you want constructive critism, or to help critique fics, just post here! ^_^

just a warning though, if you are one of those people who gets insulted by someone telling you that your fic isn't really all that good and tell you how to improve in a more blunt way than sugar-coated praise, don't ask for it to be critiqued.

I've made my fair share of horrid fics, so I want to improve on this one. (I actually have a plot for this one. Yay.)

It is an OC/ (hetero) fic (with a voted pairing, why? Because I was bored), and I want to do everything I can to stop her from being "Mary-sue". It's also set in the YYH world. Slightly AU, since I tweaked some of the powers and the places to fit the storyline better.

*waves hand in air* Me too! I'm both a person who wants constructive criticism, and a person who gives a merciless (sometimes blow-by-blow) critique on the stories in question. So chalk up my current story (I'll give ya the FF.net version, since I update that one more frequently)....

The reason why Ai is referred to as "he" and "she" is because "she" is composed of both genders, and that's why I switch.

There are very rare cases when human eyes can be purple, and Kurama was just playing around with the idea wistfully;he wasn't serious about the eye color.

::Sigh:: I wish there was a site like that for Inuyasha or Yu Yu Hakusho characters. The only other site I know that gives comments is a (really great) Sesshoumaru shrine, but its mostly just the standard "please update" ones. Don't get me wrong, I love my reviewers with all my heart and soul, but sometimes I wanna get a little feedback. Like what Silver is doing with Beautiful in Red (Thank you soooo much!)

i don't mind editing fics for people or giving constructive critism, i'm an aspiring author and this is just like practice to me, i guess.

only annoying thing is typing out all the HTML coding..
