No. I had to be "technical" about it. Hiroshima is just as good as Tokyo. ...but Tokyo is bigger! (I think <_< ) _________________ When we both rule the world, we will be entertained by the little things. |

You think? I believe that if you include all the outlying suburbs, Tokyo is one of the larget cities in the world, with over 12 million inhabitants. I'm sure that Hiroshima doesn't even come close. |

Of course Hiroshima doesn't come close. That's why I said...

Uh...Tokyo is just like any other big city...but they have alot of neighboring attractions. Like Tokyo Disneyland/Sea and a Pokemon center in the outskirts of Tokyo.
Geez, it's been a while since i've been there. Oh, well. _________________ When we both rule the world, we will be entertained by the little things. |

Tokyo's definitely got shops for awesome things. The electronics stores are fun to check out, and I enjoy looking through the used sections of the music stores. Arcades are plentiful, if you go to the right places, and the games inside are either really cool, or totally incomprehensible. Um, there are a lot of people, so many of the shops and things are really small and crowded, but the department stores are huge and are full of all sorts of crazy things (like $30 fans and uber-fancy, uber-expensive kimonos). I gotta get myself over to Akihabara sometime... That's supposed to be electronics heaven. ._.
Hm, not sure about the people 'talking with you' part. It *is* a big city, so people are usually doing their own thing. Although the people that I have talked to have been friendly. |

Japanese people are really humble. Especially if you work with them. It can be as small as an accidental step on your toe and they apologize to you a million times over.
It feels awkward at first, but you'll get used to it. You'll feel royal.
But don't take advantage of it. They're just like any other people you'll come across, not slaves. So it's a good idea to be a humble person, too. It works everywhere. _________________ When we both rule the world, we will be entertained by the little things. |

| Heh, yeah, it's really funny though, at first because it is akward. Besides, ettiquitte is stressed because there's so many people and fights and arguements would probably break out everyday. Also, I don't think you'd like to live in Tokyo. Yeah, it's nice to drive there to shop once in a while, but first off, the place is so jam packed with stores and such that it's gonna be close to impossible to find a place to live, second off, it's so crowded you'll probably end up late for school everyday or something along those lines, or you suffocate first, your choice. |

Well i live in NYC so it can't be that different to that I hope. I mean I'm almost late to school and if I wanted to move it would be hard. |

| Haha, the suffocation part is so true, but mostly because of the smokers. I swear my life is going to be shortened by multiple years just because of all the second-hand smoke I've been inhaling lately. |

*sigh* sadly you're right. I came across alot of hardcore Japanese smokers during my time here and most of them are so disappointingly young or ridiculously old. I've seen very few Japanese people smoke as an adult, as far as I can remember. _________________ When we both rule the world, we will be entertained by the little things. |

| Well I just used to it not saying that I do it but it wouldn't bother me if I had like 40 people smoking next to me. |

Let's drop that. I feel clogged just talking about it...
Anyways, Japanese people are suckers for cuteness. Obvious is it not? The last thing you want to see is an adult Japanese male walking past you with a shopping bag with a cute anime chick on it. That's not including what's inside, either. Only God knows what's in that bag... _________________ When we both rule the world, we will be entertained by the little things. |

Hahaha, that reminds me - I was talking about Star Wars at lunch with some of my coworkers, and I asked one of them what she thought about Jar Jar Binks. Because, you know, everyone in the States hates his guts. And she said that she thought he was cute, and that the Japanese have no talent for coming up with designs like those seen in Star Wars. I tried not to laugh.
Speaking of cuteness, everyone has those little dangly charms on their cell phones. Even the guys. I think it's kind of odd - back in the States, only girls seem to go for that sort of thing. Speaking of which, I need to find something appropriately dangly, sparkly, and odd for my own phone... |

I have a pokeball dangling around my cellphone. It's so cool...
Meh, that's all I'm going to put in that phone. Unless I have a shopping bag with an anime chick in it... (that made no sense at all!)
Well, I suppose it can't be helped (shouganaiyou!) if guys walk around with those kinds of bags. One of my Japanese friends has a room full of anime crap, some I've never heard of before. When there's figures, manga or games, you name it. He has it. And he's complaining that he needs to complete a naked Evangelion figure collection! _________________ When we both rule the world, we will be entertained by the little things. |

Oh so cool I love cuteness too. I would fit in just fine I love anime but I might get freaked out about the guy and a shopping bag thing. |

ARGH They're so cute~ I remember I was in a store and a lady comes in with her son and he was all like,"mom, mom! Look at this!" in Japanese, and he had such a cute voice; I wanted to hug him. =_= But his mom would probably have me arrested for molestation or something. <<;
The girls are cute, too. Even the older ones, they act so much like little children. It's adorable. (Even 19 year olds act like they're still 13 or 14. ^^; )
That also reminds me of the differences between NA and Japan. All the kids here want to seem older or more mature, but the Japanese people seem to like to value youthfulness and naivete. <3 I think they know what they're doing. Us, on the other hand... ._.; _________________

This makes me even more sad of not beiong able to go to Japan.... It's fun when people act young becaues they seem happier all the time. _________________ A life with love will have some thorns but a life without love will have no rose |
