Some people can't stand their work being critisized, I guess. *Shrug* I personally don't care if people give me constructive critisism or not, but it is nice and I'll keep in mind what they might have said. And yup, best way to go is drawing what you want, when you want, except in art class. _________________ 222.

well Im over 20 years out of art class (college) so yeah I just draw what I want. Ive gotten some good and silly cc on my pics but I always thank everyone and keep some ideas of what was said in my mind. _________________ 'It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession.
Some people can't stand their work being critisized, I guess. *Shrug* I personally don't care if people give me constructive critisism or not, but it is nice and I'll keep in mind what they might have said. I'd rather people go on this long negative rant about my work than say "cool" and nothing else. Even if someone hates my art and wants me to know it, that just proves it was strong enough to get some kind of reaction out of them. _________________ |

Lol, yea, that's true, but a long negative rant sounds so... flame-like. A long contructive critisism rant sounds better. _________________ 222.

I have given some very winded cc's here to people that I have dialog with and have recieved the same. but yeah the "you suck" comments Ive read and just general negative cc without a pat on the back can break some spirits. I always mention good points and say something like "thumbs up" to keep it a good thing.
ah wait till college cc classes. lol a bunch of no nothins sayin something. I was top of my class in photography but Id always be nice and would alays listen to cc.
I think alot of "artists" here just want to here "cool". I have my son Rock putting his art up here now and hes a 13 yo that takes cc better than alot older people. _________________ 'It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. As long as the comment (good or bad) has to do with the strength or message of the art and not me as a person, then I'm happy. People can just leave the profile comments for telling me off. Not like I'd care what the flamers have to say anyway. _________________ |

Hmm... here's a couple of pictures that I worked pretty hard on... and I could always use some more comments, or criticisms...
Edward Norton
Chibi/childlike Avaelyn
Also, no one has ever commented on my poem... I know it's not great, I don't write a lot of poetry soo... anyway...

Ah, plungergirl, I recall dropping a long comment for one of your Avaelyn's awhile back.
Anyway, the first one, you probably don't need to say it was rejected for being too big, just keep in mind to size things at 600px wide or smaller and you won't have that problem. (Some of mine've been rejected due to size, if only because I didn't check the dimensions before uploading it... one was only 610 pixels wide and was rejected Oh well no trouble on my part....)
I have no clue who Edward Norton is so I can't comment on the first one.
The second one, Chibi Avaelyn, is cute as a button. I don't see anything specific I can really comment about, aside from that her legs didn't entirely erase when you drew in the shorts, almost implying that the clothes are a bit thin... ...and that she has no fingernails/claws on her hands. Okay, I found something to comment on. I'm sure the color version will be much better.
Next up... one of mine that has yet to receive any feedback:

I'm always like that when I leave comments No mere reactions from me....
Another one I'd like to see some more serious fedback on is this one... only comment so far is from the person I did the trade with.
