What about Majora's Mask? There was no Princess-saving in that game (unless you count the Deku Princess in that one level...) No Zelda in Oracle of Ages and Seasons either, if I recall correctly. You had to save Din and that other Goddess in them. And even though the girl in Link's Awakening may have been a pseudo AU dream Zelda sort of character, she still wasn't Zelda, persay.
There's more than enough Link X Shiek/Dark Link/Ganondorf out there if you [i]really[/i] don't like to see Link with Zelda... and if slash isn't your thing there's always Link X Malon stuff to be found... |
