From what I played with it, its annoying and all the characters remind me of kingdom hearts. Plus the super gimmick of controlling both screens, I cant think of anything more annoying.
Someone's butthurt that they couldn't figure out a "child's game." That was basically the best use of the DS's DUAL screens I think I've ever seen. It wasn't a gimmick, it was a utilization of something otherwise for used for mini-maps and shit. Pretty innovative, if you ask me.

A great one at that. Shit got real once you figured out who to reliably build up fusions left and right, while having complete control of Neku.

You just confessed that you couldn't handle the complexities of the handheld game and had to resort to a console.
Castlevania (DoS, PoR, OoE) not an original gameboy game
By your reasoning any Castlevania game made on anything else but the Famicom is illegitimate.

Also, I've already given your one game that is not made for children: TWEWY.

But, if you need more, here you go: http://www.gamestop.com/Browse/search.aspx?N=134+52

Phoenix Wright is awesome, and well done.
All of the DS Castlevania's are DS only, you don't know what you are talking about
Megaman ZX is hardcore as fuck, try it sometime
Trauma Center is harder than any console game this gen, byfar
Hunters - Doesn't matter if the series is originally on handheld or not, the game is exclusive
Layton - Cool reasons, it's almost like you have nothing to back up your opinions
Zelda - See above

Additionally, the fact that you would suggest Call of Duty DS or Assassin's Creed DS is laughable, since both are awful, poorly made cash ins with no actual value as games.

Oh I could handle the "complexity" or lack there of...

the upper screen has simple moves and the bottom was most of the focus.

And I neve said the assassin creed or Cod ports were good, just that they werent made for kids.

I have plenty to back my opions, the simple fact that what im saying is true is enough.

I never said any of the games were "illigitimate"

you guys must be getting defense becasue you play these kiddie games.

And I didnt have to "resort" to a console...I just grew out of the weeaboo anime emo type games when I was...13?

Technically, you could argue that all games are aimed at children, especially early to mid teens.

I could go into that, and series this gen that are most guilty (GoW, CoD, Dante's Inferno), but that's beside the point. The argument you are making basically comes down to "Games need good graphics and mature themes to be good", which is completely foolish. Kane and Lynch had both of those, but it was an abortion of a game. Dante's Inferno has both, but it doesn't make it's combat anything but a awful exercise in tedium. Contrary to that, games like Megaman Zero and Mother 3 contain neither of these, but still manage to be far deeper in experience, gameplay, and emotional content (In the case of Mother 3)

no, im not saying graphics make a good game (although reading my comments I see where you would think thats where i was going with this)

Its just ive never found a game that was gripping enough on a handheld.

Ok maybe the golden sun series. Thats the last gameboy game(s) I played extensivley

GBA Fire Emblems! The DS one was less than satisfying.

Phoenix Wright is fun, too. The new game involving Edgeworth and walking was more predictable than I would have liked, but it was still good. More Franziska is always good~

I do, and I'm very satisfied with it. Although, I'm not satisfied with the game prices costing 1/4 of what the system costs.
