Oeeeh I have a lot of favourite anime- haha.
I could say bleach & fullmetal alchemist, but those series have been said before many times.
So to be a bit more original, I would like to recommend [b]Ouran High School Host Club[/b]. It's full of cliche's but the nice thing is that the female main character (Haruhi) isn't some naive, dumb character.
And the guys are handsome, cute & funny Twisted Evil

I really like Naruto... its my favorite anime of all time I really like Gaara he is my fave character and so is Shikamaru to
I also like Mahou Sensei Negima I like Negi alot I think he is hot (...dont ask)
I also am a big fan of Zatch Bell and Pokemon... I like One Peice to and there is this anime i used to watch but cant remember the name of it *blushes*

Yu Yu Hakusho has got to be my all time fav!

one, because it's just cool and actioney! two, it's got this whole crazy genre mix! it's got sort of a real life drama vibe (sometimes....) there's fantasy, action, and there's a little bit of Japanese history and whatnot (the three items that Hiei , Kurama and Goki stole, along with all of team Uraotogi--Ura, Kintaro and Kuromamataro (SP!!!!!) are all based off of Japanese fairy tales)

and it's just a really cool, really original anime! (i hate when people mix up YYH and DBZ, because they're both REALLY different!) it's got a character in there for everyone. it's pretty diverse (well, i think so)

Recently read some new manga, so some other fave manga/anime of mine:

Chrono Crusade (a captivating story and the whole setting in American in the 1920s is a nice change from always taking place in Japan or some random forest/desert land)
+Anima (Cooro is so cute and the whole group is hilarious!)
Ouran School or something like that (hilarious)
Full Metal Alchemist (good story)
Trigun (good story)

My fave anime and manga is Naruto Smile

WHEEE!!!!! I like Fullmetal Alchemist because it is really funny and it's really interesting and has inspired me to learn more about Alchemy....i'm practicing!!! Very Happy

(The action is awesome most of the time *exept in the Frieza saga, the part with the spirit bomb* it has one hell of a bunch of comedy that rulz and is great.)

[b]Naruto:[/b] I only have the uncut DVD box set volume one, and the manga volumes 1-4, but I really like the anime Naruto. I prefer the anime to the manga because I can see them in motion, as well as in colour and hear the characters speaking. I like the humour in the anime, such as when Ino and Sakura race to the Ninja Academy neck and neck. I don't like it when Sakura insults or bullies Naruto. I feel sorry for Naruto, being despised when he was younger, as well as in the first volume, so he is without question my favourite character, because he never gives up and is quite funny at times. I also like Sasuke, because he is drop dead gorgeous! Hands off, Sakura!!

[b]Fruits Basket:[/b] I like this anime, because they based it so well off of the manga, with a few minor mistakes... but I'm not complaining. I am a big Kyo Sohma fan, and again, he is a character in the anime I feel sorry for, because he wants to fit in with the Sohma's but they don't like him at all. I think that Kyo and Tohru Honda should get together! I like the humour in this anime, too, especially when poor Kyo faints when he sees Ayame (the snake) coming out of Tohru's jacket ((I know, spoiler)). That brings a smile if I watch it!

[b]Odin: Photon Space Sailor Starlight: [/b] Now... this anime most of you might not know. Probably most who have heard and seen it, don't even like it. But I do. Odin is a sci-fi anime film. I've seen the dubbed version (which, although I loved at the time, is total crap now, because they chopped it into tiny pieces) and the original version (much, much better). It's about a team of space explorers, who sail in a starship that looks like the ones that had the big sails on Earth. It has this drive that enables it to travel at vast speeds. They find a girl, a lone survivor from the destruction of an Earth ship and learn that aliens are out there. The crew mutiny against the captain and go on an adventure, using wormholes. This has everything for the discenrning sci-fi fan; battles, tech-talk, companionship (not romance)... Please buy it, you won't regret it! Oh... unless you don't like long winded pseudo physics tech-talk. But, nonetheless, please give it a try.

Akira: Great movie, great story, and Kenada's bike is my favorite sci-fi vehicle ever.
Macross Plus: Good stuff, good dog fights.
Samurai Champloo: Very entertaining show.
Cowboy Bebop: Great show.
FLCL: Really weird, crazy, random, and a well made show.
Metropolis: Great movie.
Steam Boy: Best retro sci-fi I've ever seen.
Lupin the 3rd: Good show, and funny as hell.

Naruto: Something different for me, since im not familiar with much, I like the strategies that are brought up and the indept characters and stories (even though some aren't new ex. Dark past)

Saiyuki: I like the story and the characters. It humors me greatly.

Fishigi Yugi: I liked the little troubles they had to go though and characters. I liked the story and how even though it was long, it never bored me.
