I'm planning to treasure it for generations to come ;)
although I never watched a single episode of it... but I read the manga (which still hasn't ended) over and over. It's good!
I'm planning to treasure the entire UC Gundam timeline for centuries to come

Well I will put one. My faves is Inuyasha. It is one of my faves because of the violence and demons also it is quite entertaining to me. ^_^ smileys _________________ |

Inuyasha went way downhill after the fifty-somethingth episode.
Plus, I would call it mild violence at best. You want to see real violence, the chack out the Ruouni Kenshin OVA (Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal)
Plus Shuffle has demons. But Shuffle's demons are hotter (2nd person in my sig  )
Inuyasha slightly redeemed itself through movies and episodes 103-122, but the rest of the series sucked. _________________

Ugh. I hate Zatch Bell. The art style makes me want to gag. =( I don't care how good it might be (though from what I've seen, it isn't) but that art is just... :banghead:
EDIT:
You know, I never actually posted in this thread. :B
Er... I think I like more than that other wolf kid. D: Yuugiou, Get Backers, Tactics, Deathnote, FMA, Yami no Matsuei, Zoids, AzuManga Daioh, Cowboy Bebop, and-and-
Wow. It's amazing that I actually have a life.
And those are just my favorites. =( I fail at life. _________________ FAC |

Zeta Gundam, preferably.
I watched (and hated) s-CRY-ed long before it was on adult swim.
Almost a year before. _________________

I can't stand BoBoBo Bo Bo BoBoBo  (however the heck it's spelled, just its name is stupid-wait unti you actually watch it, it makes me sick)
But I'd have to say my top favorite animes would be:
Yu Yu Hakusho- Not sompletely sure why I like it but it's my favorite.
Fruits Basket- um...I probably just read it to look at the art.
Samurai Champloo- Hip Hop added to samurai fights. How original can you get? _________________ Recommened web comics:

MegaTokyo: Freakin' awesome |

FLCL...never did get what that anime was about. I watched it after a bunch of people here said it was good but...meh...It was funny, but other than that, I didn't really love it or anything. |

I'm convincing myself to stick to one main anime, but I like others as well.
Fullmetal Alchemist
Hellsing
Trigun
FLCL
I don't really watch anime as much as I used to. |

Umm.. just as a reminder to people.. the original purpose of this thread was not to list a bunch of animes you like but to just choose one or two and say what you liked about it. _________________

If it's got the word "favorite" in the thread name, you know people are going to start listing every anime they've ever seen. Inevitably. :x Sucks, yah.
Same happened in the other "favorite" thread, people are starting to list a bunch of anime they've seen and just posting their favorite character out of the series. _________________

Fruits Basket ~ This was the very first anime that made me cry. Just for that, I give it major points. The characters are so real. By real, I mean that each character had a situation that the audience could relate to one way or another. I definitely could relate with them on various situations. The animation is good overall and the songs are one of the best anime songs I've heard.
Naruto ~ Great storyline, characters, animation and songs. I like the way they give details about everyone, even the extras (although some of them aren't that detailed, it doesn't subtract from the overall quality). The attack techniques are really cool and carefully explained. It's just a fun and entertaining anime overall.
Saikano ~ I love the plot. I love the characters. I love the songs. I adore the animation. The plot is well-written and flows nicely. The characters are amazing. The songs have nice melodies. The animation is fantastic. I love everything about it.
Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad ~ I love music. Beck was all about music and much more. Although their songs aren't all grammatically correct, I still like the melodies and the emotion it conveys. The main character's journey from being an absolute nobody to rockin' rockstar is a heartwarming tale. The supporting characters are very intriguing (and I wish the anime gave more details about them). The animation isn't that impressive, but that was the only drawback. It's a must-see.
Kachou Ouji - Hard Rock Save the Space ~ In my opinion, this is one of the greatest animes out there. It's mind-blowing, thought-provoking, enjoyable and just really, really awesome.
Jigoku Sensei Nube (Hell Teacher Nube) ~ Who doesn't love a cute and lovable teacher with a demon claw for his left hand? (Love him, I say! ) The plot may sound dark and gloomy, but it's actually plagued with consistent humor. It's very intriguing and remarkable.
Gensomaden Saiyuki ~ Four hot guys fighting equally hot demons and gods (for the most part), an amazing storyline and great art? What more could I ask for?
Akazukin Cha-cha ~ Very lovable characters will plague your screen. It's light-hearted, amusing (each character has a very unique personality that very well complements or contrasts others around them), and just a really good show to watch.
I have more to add, but I'm getting tired and lazy (notice that my comments on the last few have gotten shorter) so I'm just going to leave these. |
