All I can say is...SAIYUKI! And let's not forget Spirited Away, does that count? I won't list every anim I've ever seen, and if I did it wouldn't be many anyway.

Anyhewzle, those two are a perfect tie for me, I can't choose. But then... Bishies vs small children... Gah, whatever. Haku is awesome. But then... AAARGH! Nevermind, yeeeah...

For now my favourite anime is (& always has been) Sailour Moon (even though soem people swear it's Digimon. ^^). I always loved story lines like that, it was hilarious (but nothing beats subtitled jokes!) & I was a sucker for magical girls. Razz

They had a lot of cool vilians as well.

my two anime shows are
Inu-Yasha and cardcaptors Very Happy

i like the show inu-yasha because its intresting and funny and weird and disgusting and im not saying i like disgusting things, cause i dont. <_<

i like cardcaptors because, um actually i dont know why i like the show cardcaptors its just really cool!!! Laughing

Evangelion is no doubt the best anime ever!!!(my opinion) I also llike full metal panic and Gundam seed Destiny, surprisingly i dont see myself as a mecha fan, oh ya!! i also liked the animatrix(does that count??)

Ah... I haven't seen a lot of anime and manga that are probably really good, but for now... (in no particular order)

Naruto - What I liked most about it is all the characters have some problem that they have to over come... Also... it made tears come out of my eyes many times (-.-) Yes, I'm emotional.

Prince of Tennis - It may be because I'm not good at sports and like to watch them, but I really like sports anime/manga!!! I think it's amazing that every character is different when there are so many!!! The characters are very likeable... except for the handful that are evil and hurt others(like Mr. Baker! Poor Kevin...). It doesn't hurt that they are good looking too! o(n.n)o

Hikaru No Go - Once again... a sports manga. I guess I like it because it shows how the characters matured over time... and made me cry once or twice...

Bleach - Ah... yes... almost forgot this! Action! Awesome sword fighting! (n.n)v Good characters and is funny too! Sometimes is sad too...

That's all I can think of...

the story of 5 guys who have to protect Saori Kido who is Athena's reincarnation and comes to earth every 200 years to fight evil.

The saints ( bronze saints) : seiya, shiryu,hyoga,ikki and shun wear cloths which they acquired by completing their trainings. Seiya wears the pegasus cloth, shiryu the dragon cloth, hyoga the swan cloth, ikki the phoenix cloth and shun the andromeda cloth. The saints are divided in 3 different ranks : bronze saints ( the lowest rank) silver saints and gold saints ( the highest rank). The main characters are the guys mentioned above, and in order to protect Athena they will have to fight powerful enemies.

[b]Sound[/b] : The voices in english were not that good, but the voices in japanese and spanish are better. The music is really good, it especially during sad parts, you can feel kinda sad when u hear the music.

[b]Art[/b] : The show is kinda old, if you've seen it on cartoon network, you'll know what im talking about, but the character design is good. But if you watch the new episodes and the new movie you will see the new animation, which is very very good, awesome special effects and they combine 3d graphics with regular cartoons.

[b]Storyline[/b]: The storyline is really entertaining, the characters have powers, not like dbz powers but some energy attacks. But this is the only anime that ive seen involving greek mythology, involving gods and ancient greek characters. Some love, some conspiracy, some hate and some sadness.

[b]Creativity[/b]: As i said, the only anime involving greek mythology, the cloth design was really good and so was the character design. Very creative.

Animationwise it's definately everything from Ghibli. The details and movements in their animationfilms pwn Disney by far. The stories are just beautiful.

Furthermore:

Naruto, although the animation is crap (I prefer reading the manga anyways), I really like the story, and I'm a sucker for Shonen-series. And it has Gaara....'nuff said :P

FLCL, CRAAAAZY!!! I laugh my ass off....it's so majorly weird!

Kyou Kara Maou, cool parody on the whole fantasy/Shonen-ai-stuff. Funny!

Full Metal Alchemist: The plot line is intense and it's just plain funny sometimes.
Inuyasha: I like the funny episodes.
FLCL: Short = best in my book!
Tenjou Tenge: I like fanservice. (Yes, I am a girl)
Samurai X: The 'adult, and not so cute' version of Ruroni Kenshin
Ikki Tousen: Yet another anime with lots of fanservice!
Case Closed: I love the mysteries.
Excel Saga: Too crazy.
GTO: 'Nuff said!
Love Hina: *sigh* You gotta love the fanservice...
Naruto: Ninjas! Laughing

Outlaw Star: Now that was a good anime... Back in the day, I loved me some good space battles, cat girls, a smart kid, a pretty innocent girl, a smartass good guy and a small talk samurai chick. Good times, good times...
Ranma 1/2: Because Ranma was just plain stupid.
Rave Master: Manga, not the anime.
Slayers: Naga, the big brested ice gal, and Lina, the flat chested fire gal.
Sorcerer Hunters: Tira and Chocolate for the (you guessed it) fanservice.
Tenchi Muyo: All those girls and one guy? C'mon, Tenchi was gettin some serious a$$.
Trigun: Until the serious episodes.
Yu Yu Hakusho: The fights were so hardcore!! And NO, Hiei and Kurama are NOT gay!

It's ninjariffic! W00t!

The anime actually kind of makes me want to cry... they destroy all my characters with their poo animation and the voices that (I think) don't fit at all. And they have colour! It's just weird! The manga is ninja love.

...and of course, Gaara! And Temari! The two secksayhist characters of all time.

But mostly Gaara.
