Traced Official Pics?

Geez, Don't we find suspicious pictures everyday. I got the member from the recent pictures pile.


There is absolutely no mention on what paper she worked on, what medium she used, how she feels about her picture looking like official picture because of the smooth laydown of CG colors... :wacko: :wacko:


Her gallery is filled with pictures that I think was traced/filtered from official art and actual photographs of her birds. WTF?



Here's a picture, she claims to have drawn it in two separate pieces of paper (for each character) and joined them in photoshop, I don't even know what this series is, it sure looks familiar <_<

So, people, what's your verdict on this? I didn't erase MEG out of her pictures for the sake of preserving autheticity, and no, you won't get her ID name by searching for it. <_<

sorry, mentioning their name or putting a link to their gallery/profile is strictly prohibited by the punishment of decapitation. It is to make sure the user isn't flamed wheter they really stole the pictures or not.


We've had success with concealing their names except the very first one, and that's partially my fault <_< . but I blame one of their supporters making a thread about it just neon-signing their name all over the thread.

so no... But I gave you plenty of hints where to look for the stolen picture

I searched for the first pic but I couldn't find any pics official pics similar to this.I'll try again.

"Copy art" -- a more proper term for tracing (whether by CG, tracing paper, mirrors, measurement/"grid" method -- it's all the same). It is deceiving. It does not portray the artist's ability to construct anatomy, understand color theory and lighting, or apply unique perspective and foreshadowing. By redrawing an existing picture, they are merely borrowing those skills from another artist, and the only skill of their own is the ability to copy from a picture.

Shame on those who fave a piece of copy art over something that's actually 100.0% the artist's creation. I remember seeing that Superman picture too.

Hi There. I stumbled across this artist's stuff too. I found I suspiscios...mostly because she never made a description for any of their pics. I found this one too. Maybe it will be easier to hunt down. it's Otto from the Simpsons

could be that "You have better things to do" I do some CG work myself. and I supose If you master your work with the pen tool you can acomplish something like that. Though that first one would be the devil to draw. Mmmmm... Maybe your right.

Not yet resolved but being looked into in abuse email. Basically traced pictures don't need AAA topics.
