Magic The Gathering Category?

Is there any concrete reason, why there's no Magic the Gathering category for fanart on this site?? Or is there and I just didn't found?

Have you used the category request form?

You're right, we don't have a Magic: the Gathering category. We don't really have a place for card-based games in the first place (not counting the 'licensed' cardbased games i.e. pokmon, YGO, etc.) . But it'd have to go under Games.

Hmm... a picture search for "Magic the Gathering" turns up only 17 results across the entire lifespan of FAC....

I don't think it's necessary, especially since it's a fantasy TCG, right? You could easily just draw one and place it under "magical creatures" or whatever the category is. Most of its monsters are generic ones, anyway. Just under a different name.

True... though MTG is, nonetheless, a specific [i]brand name[/i] of fantasy (as is Warcraft, D&D, etc.) .

In a way, it's like asking why there's no pure Lego category....

Found roughly a dozen pictures related to MTG after an FAC pic search. That isn't much demand... but heck, I suppose there's no harm in accommodating them:

Starting to deviate from the actual topic, but... Why do people insist on making their cards practically indestructible? :/ I've noticed that, reminded now by one of the art submissions.

I guess Mary Sues just like springing up everywhere.
