Well, yes. As you can probably guess, I love AR books. Very talented she is. I've read 4 of her books this month... and she has a new one out now~! (Well, it only came out here in Australia a few weeks ago) I really want to buy it before it goes to paperback. I really prefer the hardcover books. 1/2 of her books that I own are hardcovers. Well, yes. Uhhh... so does any one have any favourite characters from her books? Personally Im a big fan of Lestat (as are most people). I also like Gabrielle... and I loved Nicholas... but well... that ended tragically.
Oh, I was wondering if anyone could explain to me what happened to Armand. Because at the end of Memnoch the Devil he goes into the dawn and poof, goes up in flames. In Pandora, they mourn him. So... uhh... unless I passed over it... how does he pop up all alive again in his book Armand? I must have missed it (Im starting reading Armand again soon... probably 2morrow...) I read so many books I forget things alot. So if anyone remembers anything about that, well, could they tell me. Oh and another thing... When Lestat goes into the Gobi desert to kill himself, I dont think he goes up into flames when he's in the sunlight... just kinda.. well, burns. But Armand and Mael burst into little glorious bonfires, why is that? Armand and Mael are older than Lestat. Or is it just on account that Lestat is a blood whore? He has bloody everyones blood in him. So he doesn't burst into flames? well... I have no idea what I'm going about anymore... so yeah. cheers,

Armand doesn't entirely go up in flames. He landed on a roof and managed to crawl under an awning or something.
And Lestat doesn't so easily burn anymore mostly because he has a lot of Akasha's blood in him.
I'm almost about ready to read Armand myself one more time. There was a certain sentence that really cracked me up for some reason. I don't exactly recall which but...it was funny. |

Fair enough Fair enough. Yeah, I was thinking "He CANT die~!!! He has his own book~!!" And one of my friends was saying that it doesn't mention what happens... and I have the memory of a fish... so I barely remember much.
Actually, some experts say that fish have a good memory, going as far as to say they can teach them tricks. But I don't believe that... another fishy fact... catfish can get up to 3metres long~!! Sorry don't mind me... I love telling people that. They found some 2.5m long catfish in the city lake down south somewhere when it ate some lady's labrador. Poor dog.
ANYWAY!! It's very early here (for me that is) I was up and about at 5:30am. The sun wasnt even up yet... it's 8:00am now. I went to bed at about...hmmn. 4am. Why? God knows. Actually, I was up early because my *wonderful* sister wanted me to tape her the World Idol result show. It was absolutely facinating. <_< She can't do it because she is with her fiance down south... blahblahblah. What I do for some people... damned self-sacrificing person i am. Well, there was something in it for me... mwahahahahaha.
Back onto Anne Rice, Has anyone read her new book yet?
I remember there was something Lestat said in Memnoch that made me laugh... well he said a few things that made me laugh. This was a pointless post, I just need to do something to wake myself up... I think I mite go walk 2 the book exchange.... later. Well, Cheers,

Her new Vamp chronicle is called "Blood Canticle" and it's a direct follow on to Blackwood farm. To my knowledge. It's got alot of Rowan Mayfair in it apparently. I brought it last week, but leant it to my friend because I'm re-reading them due to my crap memory. Oh yeah I think thats the name of the book... don't quote me on it thou...hehe I have a feeling thats the last of the VC's though. I guess since Stan Rice died she doesn't feel the need for Lestat to really continue. We know he'll live forever.
Today in Ancient History we made a huge timeline across the varanda marking out the beggining of civilization (for the yr11's) and the roman empire [for the yr12's (me!)]. And one of my friends (who's also an AR fan) and I were just pointing out things like "Lestat was made about there **points to timeline**, And Armand should be somewhere around here... **points some more**... Ohh Pandora's there... and Marius would b there." Then eventually we were in awe seeing how far Akasha, Maharet, Mekare, Enkil, Kayman etc. were from the present year. We were like "Whoa! They're prehistory... so they are wayyyyyyyy down the other end." It was very facinating actually. We were more preoccupied with fictional characters then real civilizations... I think Im obsessed. Oh well. Cheers,

lol
I've always thought of making out a timeline to keep track of who was made when and where. It's good to take little notes like that.
Especially if you did a timeline for each character and marked major events on it, that would be like perfect and would refresh your memory when you forget.
And no, i havent' seen the new book, i have to re read a lot of them so it will be awhile before i get to them really..
Sorry
