it really depends. as it says on the main page "for the most part, we will not be accepting drawings on lined paper." this basically talking about quick doodles done in class or low-quality sketches. but some of the lined-paper drawings we've gotten have been very well done, coloured and everything, and it's obvious the artist spent time on it and worked hard on it. some people edit out most of the lines in photoshop by colouring over them, too. others crop the lines around the drawing

so basically, if you're going to submit doodles done in class, try not to draw on lined paper, and try to only submit works that you believe you worked hard on. but also don't assume that if you carelessly colour a lined-paper doodle we'll automatically accept it. that's my understanding of it anyway. (i'm still kinda new to the approval panel)

Basically, no, don't be lazy and just draw on plain paper in the first place, or at least transfer it to plain paper before submitting it only. Look at my rant about it, i explain all rather nicely. The link is on the main page.

The only lined paper i've let through was erased, except through the drawing, which was colored ,and barely noticable. All else was erased by the artist.

yea that's what i meant by the ones that are coloured well so it doesn't matter that they're on lined paper. but if you're gonna draw in class and you really feel you must submit it, then just bring plain white paper to class. i use computer paper i stole from the library
