As you have probebly notices, there have been some major problems lately with the thumbnails. To solve this and other problems, FAC will be moving to new servers this weekend. Sometime this weekend (late tonight or tomorrow) image submissions will be disabled, and at some point all other submissions (eg comments) will also be brefily disabled.

I cant wait to have this problem fixed. I have animations that dont work and I had to erase them.

The move is complete. There were a number of technicial problems during the move and more downtime than I wanted because of them but I think the site is now finally stable again. The thumbnail problems should be completely fixed and the database should be more stable now. There is still a small problems the the search engine, but I should get that cleared up later today.
Site may be a little slow during peak hours for a day or so as the thumbnails get regenerated. But overall it should be faster.

Good. But another problem is when I type in something on search, it wont show pics! It just shows the stories and peoples usernames also the categories.

Hi are we allowed to report glitches in here?
because i have one, me and my sister and my friend (NEVERBENORMAL, HawaiianCat, Silverstream) were getting the notification emails before the server crud that has been going on. now, that the server has been switched we are not getting those emails anymore. i keep asking everywhere but nobody knows T_T
my dad fixes compys for a living so i asked him to take a look, and he says my email isnt blocking fanart and that it might be the new server that is blocking the emails. me and my friends that are having the problems all have comcast. does the new server have something against comcast?
This happened AFTER the server switch so it has to be something with what has been going on. is the new server blocking me???
my email boxes on my profile are checked in and everything so...i should still be getting emails
I am not getting any error reports or anything it is just...not sending to me anymore T_T
and i know because i got recent comments that i didnt get emails for.
please help me/us ;_;

This question probebly shouldn't go here but....
I know FAC has had problems before with the comcast spam filters.
According to the maillog, Comcast's mail server is replying "Service unavailable"
HawaiianCat's hotmail address is reported as accepting the email.
"Service unavailable" isn't really a specific enough error to give me much to debug.

Nik recently changed her email so...that is why it is working now ^_^ she had comcast before....I'll ask my dad if i can switch to hotmail...it seems to work... thank you so much for helping!
