Who Are They?

Alright... I just realized something while I was writing a post, and I was about to say something, and now, I wonder what it really means... You know some people say, "You know, [u]they[/u] say that this food is bad for your health" or "[u]They[/u] just made this new..." (sorry I can't think of a really good example right now)... do you understand what I'm trying to say?? Anyway... who are [u]They[/u]?? People say it (and I've done it, too) without even thinking about it... and usually, when someone says "They" did something, no one usually questions who "They" are, instead just take it for granted that "They" is someone, and whatever has been relayed to them MUST be true, even though people are not even sure where this so-called information is coming from... anyway... any ideas/theories?? What do you think?? I personally think that people say "They" because they heard something, and don't remember where the info came from, so people just relay the information saying "They" said it... hmm... I'm going to try using the word "they" a lot less more now... anyway... I'm done...

You know, I've been thinking about this for a couple weeks now and I've come to the conclusion that "They" is a secret organization of people who sit around a table in a really shodowy room and wear those funky robes. "They" have infinite knowledge of the universe, so, therefore, if "They" say that it's true, it must be true. They are watching you!!!! *cough*
Well, that's my theory anyway.

Know what?? I bet you're right!! I could see it... this little organization of people living in an underground lair putting cryptic messages into television and radio programming, making us believe whatever they want, so they can RULE THE WORLD UNQUESTIONED!!

i would agree with your theory, paru, but i happen to know that "they" is the name of that little rabbit who hides out under the sink. whatever they says, goes. he manipulates people with his insane cutness (few people can resist bunnies, such is their great power). he does indeed instruct that secret organization you mentioned, tho. they are his drones and act as his link to the outside world. you see, he has grown too fat to leave the aforementioned sink, which would explain everyone's sudden obsession with dieting and being skinny (they say atkins with help you lose weight! they say yoga is great exercise!). yea...
