I just finished reading Specials a while ago, by Scott Westerfeld. In fact, I've read the entire trilogy. I have to say, it's pretty amazing. I like how Tally is this whole sort of 'superfreak,' but no one really sees it until it's too late.
Also, from the very few pages I've read of Extras, it's supposed to be like the after Specials, but all Japanese? I think that would be really cool.
