Can Anyone Please Help Me...

hello there,

i've been trying to upload my pic from yesterday up till now and all i got is the same old reply saying i can't put the symbols ~!@#$%^*&...blah blah blah...all i added to the title of my pic is this . and : and after i got the 1st reply i changed and deleted the symbols but i still get the same reply... i've been putting these symbols several times before(way before this pic) and my piccies were still approved then...

and also it used to be that when i finish categorizing and typing the description for my pic,the moment i click the upload button,my pic will be approved immediately but now i have to wait 2 days with only 30 something submissions on the queue...what is really going on here?i know that the site is growing and things are kinda slowing up but it really gets to my nerves when it gets to repeat again and again Grr!

The auto-approval has been restricted. It still exists, but not so many people are on it now (don't know how they decide who is and who isn't on it).

Regarding the symbols, no clue, sorry.

Due to recent events, FAC's approval guidelines are being enforced more strictly than before.

- A few members were found to be abusing their auto-approval status. As a result of this, the auto-approval system has been tightened, and further controls are going to be implemented to prevent auto-approval abuse in the future.
- Picture titles are, and have for awhile been, NOT allowed to start with symbols. Previously, many younger users would use the symbols as a way to get their pictures sorted first in the alphabetic lists. This was done to the point where you can find almost entire [i]pages[/i] of pictures labelled "!!!!!! my first drawing" and so forth. This trick simply does not work anymore, and you don't need to prefix your titles with it as a way to "sign" your pictures. (for comparison: deviantART does not allow ANY symbols in picture titles, including parentheses)

oh i see...i noticed too...many artists do that with the symbol thingy...just like what stratadrake said...and its really annoying Grr!

...but i'm doing it as a decoration Razz

...and besides i do that to most of my piccies as my siggy... Razz

I can't get my fanfic to onto the site i get as far as the add part but i just won't work any help would be most apprcited reply or e-mail
