Lunar Dragons.

I see a lot of fanart for these creatures, but have you ever tried looking up a definition on exactly what they are?

All I get from Google (even [i]after[/i] filtering out results advertising the Lunar RPG series, and Oriental dragons) is, well... a bunch of fansites.

And Wikipedia doesn't have much to say on the subject either, except for:

Good for me, I've played both Lunar games for the PS2.

They're not exactly a specific type of dragon, per se. When it says "lunar", I think Wikipedia just means dragons from that vg series.

As for the fanart on FAC, I expect they're either dragons from the games, or people just thought "hey, my dragon could come from the moon. Pretty cool sounding, 'lunar dragons.'"
