Okay, well i've definatly seen these pictures on a Chrno Crusade fansite before called Believe, and they were images from one of the Chrno Cruade artbooks and the original line art that Daisuke Moriyama used. Unfortunatly the site was closed as the webmaster stopped liking the show, so all of it was lost.
The original images were just the lineart, they weren't coloured in any way at all so it would be easy enough to colour them in, not only that but the artist also left the shading lines in that the artbooks used as guidance when colouring. The art they claim as their own is also coloured by computer so that would make it easy to directly copy and paste the image.
On the art the places where they have kept the lines in match exactly with the shading on the original. It is possible to put shading in the right place but all of the lines are in exactly the right places even in the hair which would be smaller details and not as easy to copy freehand.
The last point is that 5 of their images in their gallery don't even compare to the others loaded. The most recent one added isn't done in the same way or anything to the others. No detailed shading lines and incorrect proportions. Personally I don't see how an artist can go from not bad, to brilliant, then back to not bad on the same type of art. You just really have to take a look at their gallery to know they are stolen.
One of their recent pictures:

The art is so different, and their most recent picture is drawn like the above, not like the one below.
The (stolen?) image:

This is only a wallpaper but the lines do match :\

I kinda wrote a little too much but i've watched this artist for a while and I can't see how their artwork isn't stolen. Help? |

Ah, I remember you PMing me about this person. :/ I remember in one of their works they said something like they didn't trace because they were -- crap, forgot the term -- but their job is to reproduce stills and cels or something... While I'm not familiar with the process of it, I still suppose that it's not actual self done art. However, I wasn;t sure how to go about it because she's apparently "supposed" to be doing this kind of stuff... But it's not original images, and that's what counts, I guess.
Since you've already found a wallpaper with the original image on it, I assume it's safe to email Abuse with this person. :/ _________________
