You have to fill in the recipient's username manually on the PM form. Make sure you don't type in the nick in parentheses (e.g., if you wanted to PM me, you'd type "Stratadrake" and not "Stratadrake (Strata)"), and get the spelling/capitalization correct. Highlight + copy/paste works well here.
