Ah, the perennial question of technophobes. Are you talking about just any website or are you talking about "here", Fanart Central?
To upload a pic onto Fanart Central:
1 - Go to http://www.fanart-central.net/
2 - Near the top you'll find a button called 'Login'.
3 - Click, then enter your username/password (usually the same as for these forums)
4 - When the main page loads, you should see an "Approval Queue" shown near the right, and an "Add Picture" button shown near the top left.
5 - Click on "Add Picture" and follow the instructions.
Basic guidelines for submitting a pic:
- Avoid drawing on lined (i.e. notebook) paper, we don't like it.
- Try to keep your images under 600 pixels in width. If it's too large, crop or resize with whatever Photoshop-like program you have available.
- Categorize and rate the image as best as possible.
