To reduce the number of "why can't I post?" complaints by new users, certain areas have been adjusted so that they are not even visible until the user has acquired actual posting access to them.
Areas such as "Self-Promotion", "Taking Requests/Trades", and also "Random" are among the sections affected in this manner.
