#1 - Choose a different password. I don't see any real problems with two users having the same password (provided, of course, that they don't KNOW they have the same password!), but it's better for every password to be different. In fact, if you can't use a password because someone else has it, you shouldn't even be told who they are, only that you should "choose a different password"! Be original.
#2 - Check your Inbox. When you register, an e-mail should be delivered to your mailbox with instructions on how to finalize/activate your account.
#3 - The forum administrator dictates what forums allow/disallow "guest posting", so you better get used to it.

Ah, e-mail! THAT makes much more sense. But why would your e-mail be taken by a different user? *scratches head in confusion* :huh:

The account verification is sent to the e-mail addy you give, which makes it impossible for anyone else to sign up with your e-mail, unless they already have access to your e-mail account, and I can think of only one person who fits that description: you.

I don't know... I'd bet cstdenis can help some.
