Stolen?

I saw this picture today... I haven't seen it before or anything, but the reason I thought it was stolen (mostly, anyway) was the fact that they said they coloured it with coloured pencils? Doesn't look like it to me... and all the people who commented on it said they had seen the picture before and stuff. I'm surprised no one reported it yet. Plus, there's a sig that says it was done in 03, but it was posted a lot more recently than that.

So, has anyone seen this before?

Yeah, that's definitely watercolor or something like it. Does the rest of this person's gallery match up with the style and level of skill?

They only had one other picture, which they said that they had only coloured. But still, the colouring style wasn't even the same. :/

looks more like water color to me, not pencil. I'd say this was stolen.
If other people say they saw this pic before, I'm surprised no one reported it :/

That's definently watercolor. I work all with colored pencils, and that's not what they look like. . . . .

I'd say stolen.

you can buy water coloured pencils, but they make the paper crinkle, so i guess this is stolen art

1. What does this have to do with it being stolen or not?
2. It only "crinkles" paper if you don't know what you're doing.

they cost like 3 dollars per sheet though.

Volley for your school to put more money into the art programs, and then appropriate some when thy get good quality stuff. The eighth graders'll just waste it anyway, and since you pay fees for your course you might as well get your money's worth.

I totally agree that it is more water colors than coloring pencils. And agree that it must be stolen. Don't remember where i saw this before thought.....

I've used color pencils alot and I find it impossible to make the color blend that well and that lightly without pencil strokes or large white spots showing. The way the colors overlap it has to be a watercolor.

There's noooooo way that's colored pencil. The texture is too smooth. The colors are nice, however, assuming they are watercolors. It was probably stolen. (I'm basing that off of what you've posted)
