Tales From Earthsea

The trailer was skippy for me, too. It must be the site. Too bad, it looked awesome from what I saw before the skipping annoyed me too much. ;)

The Earthsea Trilogy is by Ursula K. LeGuin, and there was a live-action miniseries on the Sci-Fi channel. I meant to watch it, but I never did. I think it might be out on DVD now, though.

I made a thread about this a few months ago, though very few people actually cared/responded. 8D But I'm glad to finally see a trailor for it. Just seeing that same poster was driving me nuts. Sad

I have the Earthsea DVD because I heard it was good, but when I watched it, it looked like a LotR wannabe. I'm hoping the Miyazaki one will be better...

Are you referring to the SciFi channel's little series thing they did a year or two ago?

I heard about this awhile ago. People have been spazzing about it being made by Myazaki's son and their saying it was going to suck. I'm not sure if they were feeding me lies or not because I never bothered to look into it myself. Though apparently they weren't.

It doesn't look to bad, if I do say so meself. Nice scenery at very least...^^;
