Chobits

I'm a big fan of Chobits, and I'm about to buy the complete set on ebay, so I was wondering if anybody ELSE actually likes it.

Its about a guy called Hideki whos broke and dosent have enough money to buy a computer (which are persocoms, they are in the shape of humans, or animals).
One day after working at his 'dead-end job' he finds one in the trash. (Its a girl)
So he takes her home and after 4 hours of searching for the 'on' button he finds it.
The only thing she can say is 'Chi' so he names her Chi.
*I just had to leave, I also found out Im broke so I cant buy chobits*

People still like this series? Damn.

I like a lot of other CLAMP works, but Chobits just seemed to me. It had the unique premise of the whole robot doll whatever thing, but otherwise was totally a generic fanservicey manga for horny boys.
