The Chronicles Of Yord

Hello. Because so few people are reading my fanfics (--.--) I decided I would try posting them here! And so, here is my first.

- The Chronicles of Yord
- PG-13, for some violence and some semi-cosmo-philosophical themes
- Fanfiction
- Shamanic Princess, however, part of my hope is that you don't have to have seen the anime series to understand this fanfiction, so don't let never having seen Shamanic Princess stop you from reading this, please
- Fantasy
- No romance
- Three little girls become intrigued by the mystery of the long-past disappearance of Sarah Mikadzuki, and decide to try and unravel it--only to get in way over their heads.

Be warned that my fanfics are REALLY LONG. I hope they're good enough that that doesn't bother people, but you should know going in that my chapters are probably ten pages on average. LONG.

Anyways, please, any feedback anybody could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I was smiling the entire time. You really get into the mindset of a bunch of little, naive kids, and I have to say I adore this line:

"But that was when they were three. Now they were four."

Very Happy

What a great line. It so totally captures the essence of your characters. I have to say I've never seen this show and probably never will, but you created a great story with intriguing characters and, for a fanfic, I actually could follow what was going on, even without ever seeing the show you speak of.

The description is beautiful. It reads almost like poetry and I can see this in my head when I'm reading it.

Great job, Ian. Bravo.

Wow! Really? Thank you! I also saw your comment on it...tell me, what is inking? I'd like to try and make it easier to read, but I don't know what inking is...

Pen. After you go over stuff in pencil, you outline it then with pen.

Preferably, pen that has ink.

:) That's all. It helps your stuff stand out more and thus become easier to identify.

How long did it take you to write "Chronicles"?

As to inking...are you talking about my pictures, or my writing? :wacko: I think I misunderstood you...I know what inking pictures is, but I thought you were talking about my writing...

Anyways. How long to write Chronicles? Um...let's see...the first chapter only took a few days, but I think the whole thing took about a year, what with writer's block and new plot ideas and going back for editing. Though that was when I actually had free time ^.^ Yeah, somewhere around a year sounds right.
