Grendizer Super Robot!

Hi,
This topic is for discussing UFO Robot Grendizer aka Goldorak aka Grandizer aka Goldrake, the legendary Anime that used to be aired in the early eighties where I live.
If you know what I'm talking about, then you're probably one of the oldies -like myself, as I'm 27- and I'm pretty sure you feel the same about Grendizer as I do.
I just wanted to see how many oldies like myself who remember this great show are on this site; we can discuss the show, favorite episodes, characters, or whatever Grendizer-related here.

I remember Grendizer which I known as Goldorak here Smile

it beginned to air here in the late 1970's, I wish to see a return of Duke Fleed/Actarus/Orion Quest soon.

I made up too many imaginary sequels in my mind! lol! In one of them, Vega the great turns out to be still alive after escaping his burning vehicle! lol! But the stories that seemed always believable enough are those in which I made up episodes that fitted in the real series, and I'm planning on making Grendizer comics or mangas out of those!lol! Very Happy

Speaking of Grendizer/Goldorak stories, there some French Goldorak fics at http://membres.lycos.fr/goldotriomphe/fanfiction.htm Wink

one of them is "Le Retour de Goldorak" (Grendizer's return), Duke returned from Fleed and have to unite with his team again, fighting Vegaron who's Vega's son!

new edit: there another good fic called "Le fantme du pass" (ghost from the past), set after Maria Grace first cameo appearance, who featured a comeback of Blacky who escaped from his burning saucer and very decided to get rid of Duke Fleed, and Banta will have his heroic moment at the cost of his own life (I hope then I didn't showed lots of spoilers)
