Macs and Games

I have a PC. I can play any game that comes out. My friend has a Mac. He whines because if it is a game made after 1992 he can't play it.

Ok I'm exaggerating. But look at a game box from 1998. What does it say? "PC Requirements" and "MAC Requirements." Now look at a game box from say, 2003. What does it say? "PC Requirements" and "PC Reccomended"

That's right. Half Life 2? Mac computers explode if one gets within 30 feet of the game. Far Cry? Mac computers commit suicide if you even mention the game. F.E.A.R.? If you even think about the game every Mac in a ten mile radius explodes.

Yet Mac vs PC commercials are all "Macs the fun system!" Yet they can't play video games. How should those commercials go?

"Hello, I'm a Mac." Mac is sitting at a card table playing solitaire. "I'm the fun system! Look I got an Ace!"

PC Walks in with Gordon Freeman's Hazard Suit on and a crowbar in hand.

"Hello, I'm a PC. Hello Mac what are you doing?"

"I'm the fun system playing a really exciting game! What are you doing Mr. Serious?"

"I'm saving mankind from alien opression."

"I see Mr. Serious. Relax and play a fun game!"

PC walks away to save the human race.

Next commercial...

"Hello I'm a Mac. I'm playing a really exciting game called Spider Solitaire."

PC Walks in with a lot of armor on and a big axe in hand.

"Hello, I'm an Ork Warrior, er, PC. Me and my Horde brethren are planning an assault on Stormwind City."

"Mr. Serious doing serious things. Why can't you be the fun system like me?"

"For the Horde!" PC runs off screen.

And do this for dozens of commercials. Promote new video games like this.

Then finally, the Super Bowl Finally.

"Hello I'm a Mac. I'm playing a really exciting game called Hearts."

A Game box jumps onto the screen.

"What's this?" Mac stands up and looks at the game box. "AAAA!!!!! A game made after 2003!" Runs off the screen then PC walks onto the screen.

"I told you not to scare him. Let's go free Azeroth from the Lich King's forces."
