Few tips for profiles

Okay, I have to say, there are just a few bothers with the profiles.
I know that you guys are still working on all this, but I'm just gonna point out what's kinda annoying as of now. Don't get me wrong, the new site is awesome, but the new profile favs settup... really doesn't let me get around so well. :/

Okay, I know this has been discussed and is being worked on, but the color swaps need some work. The dark really does blot out the letters, and I need to highlight just to read the lists.
2 columns for those.... hm.... it's not so bad an idea, but it can slightly confuse me a bit with the alphabetical order, maybe it was just me, but it seemed to skip around for a little while. :/

Oh, and the top 5 pics of that artist? You're going by comments, right?
Because those top 5 are pics that I actually really hate. Yeah, and I guess they just got the most comments because they've been there for a loooooong, long time. ._. So can't say I like that too much.
Maybe you can pick, between say most commented, faved [dunno], perhaps most recent 5, as they usually show better skill ^_~, or perhaps swap it kinda with the selected pic, so you can pick the 5 for the bottom?? Because otherwise, I'm contemplating just deleting those pics. Bleh.

Also, when browsing the profile... I think the biggest problem from the last layout is still there. As I've got tons of favs and all, my profile was always lengthy... and this doesn't help out much, even though it's doubled.
I'm asking, could you collapse them? Like, have just links [perhaps with a few sample, like on the main profile page] and then let people open up what they want?
It'd help out a lot, and save my favs page a lot of loading. :/

And how are those selected stories, artists, and favs in the profile page arranged? Just randomly? Picking them could help, for say perhaps I wanted to go to their page, I could just click from my profile instead of [as of now] having to go to the favs, wait for all of the links to load, then scroll down and try and pick out the one person??

Oh, but I do like the 'who's faved you' list. Very nice.

text colors are still being tweaked. new color schemes with better contrasts are coming. have patience.

top 5 pics go by # of faves.

not sure your idea for a new faves page is any good. not everyone faves every artist they come across, so not everyone has this problem. my page is lengthy too, but doesnt take long to load, even on my crappy connection.

i dont know how the selected stories/faves/fans are determined. maybe by random, but there are clear links to the faves page along with them, so this doesnt seem too big of a deal.

maybe denis will like some of your ideas and impliment them, who knows. i keep mentioning we need the actual numerical value of favorited aswell (fans (46), favorite artists (78) etc.)

Hey, but really, for the favs, they're all for pretty good artists I've found. I've even sifted through them [and my fav pics] before, removing lesser ones... still, I guess I'm kinda spastic and prone to click favs. ^_^;

Sure we can't merge that with selected art? 'Cuz the 5 pics really don't show my good drawing skills. :/

I guess I could get by with the favorites thing, but I would still prefer a collapsable. If not, I might have to bookmark things, which I guess can't be that bad.

isnt your Featured Art section good enough? you can choose any picture you want from your gallery. i really like it, though its not working right now. before the launch, i would change the pic every few days cus i liked the feature so much.

Mmn, I suppose so. I do like the featured artwork, and I will use it as soon as it's working right.
It's just, the 5 pics really don't show my level of skill or what I draw now, as they're really old, and I don't want people to get the wrong impression. :/

i dont think there is anything denis can do about that. he already has so much work on his hands. just keep posting your best work as your featured art, they will eventually get more faves and take the place of top 5

fave users and fans have no defined order.
