Trace and change

So this has been annoying me for a while, there's an artist who doesn't completly copy pictures, but she does to an extent. Here are links, I reported it and nothing happened, but I'm sure it can't be just alright. If I'm overreacting please tell me!

(FYI, when we say that you can't identify the image in question, this also includes use of its numeric ID.)

The similarity is pretty creepy, but to me it looks like the artist still did the work themselves. I can't call a verdict on this matter, myself.

I would like to hear the opinions of a couple of more people. After looking at them, obviously they used the originals as references. Some look to be directly traced. If anyone has time a layover might be helpful. If not I'll do it later.

Yeah, looks to me like they used those originals are reference pictures...they don't seem to have traced them, 'cause their drawings are done a bit differently.

I forgot to change the id in the links, but I just did.

I don't think it was traced, and I guess that means that it follows the rules. If nothing happens I suppose it's alright since she did draw it and all, but it seems a bit dishonest.

and won't let me upload fading gifs of ANY size that you can actually recognize as images. Sorry I couldn't be of any help, I won't bother you like this ever again.

But if you could please be bothered to look at a not-fading image:

The gif should be a fade out so we see how well the lines match up.

No, they're not traced. I can see a lot of differences.

Still doesn't make it right that they're copying the art like that and not giving any credit. :/

They most likely should be given a warning to note when they use a reference for their picture. I wouldn't call it technically stealing, but they are taking credit for the poses.

Okay I've heard enough to back up what I originally thought anyway. Please email abuse with this persons username etc. I'll warn them to give credit to the original poses/artist. That is all that can be done for now.

Sorry I haven't been here to reply, I've been a bit busy with the last days of school and exams and whatnot that follows the end of school =/ I'll managed to get a gif that faded out, and they seemed to be more accurate when I stretched hers. I haven't figured how to upload it since Photobucket won't do it. Well, thanks for everyone's help and I'll send an email to abuse =)
