Which survival horror series/game do you most enjoy?

-Resident Evil
-Silent Hill
-Clock Tower
-Clive Barker's Undying
-Fatal Frame
-System Shock 2
-(Feel free to add more to this list)

IMO, out of all these games I've played, none comes as close to "hide in your closet" scary as Clive Barker's Undying. Everytime those purple demons started coming after me, I develop this violent chill in my spine.

System Shock 2, easy. No games SOUND alone has come as close to making me soil myself as that game has.

Resident Evil hands down. Not only is it one of the most well-known survival horror games ever created, it's the original baby! It's the actual TRUE survival horror game. Great graphics, great sound and great, innovative plot all gave Resident Evil the reputation it has today. Oh, and IMO, Resident Evil 4 looks to be the best Resident Evil of the series, along with innovating the genre and series even further.

I hear Resident Evil 4 is going to be the most unorthodoxed game of its series. You don't really gun down zombies anymore. Instead, you have psychotic homicidal villagers out for blood.

Personally I hope Claire Redfield's in the next Resident Evil 5.

Hey, psycho villagers are WAY cooler than your average every day zombie. In RE4 they can throw axes and use weapons against you, not to mention their smarter than those idiot non-AI-existant zombies. RE4 is going to be the turnaround of the series which will continue the Resident Evil legacy. Nothing beats Capcom.

Smarter? You bet.

Say you try to shoot one of them and they run away. Your instinct tells you to pursue the runaway. He leads you into a corner and BAM! it turns out to be a trap, because there's now 6 of them that you have to take on.

Kinda puts slow-walking zombies to shame, eh?

I also like to see how this first-person view option comes into play. I prefer my FPS on my PC.
